Our Mission
To create a space, wherever we go, where people can slow down and intentionally enjoy the moment. We want to use coffee as the bridge that connects people, turning any place—new or familiar—into somewhere meaningful.
Every Cup Tells a Story
“Coffee has always been more than just a drink for me—it’s been a ritual, a way to gather, and a moment to truly connect. I believe quality coffee can add so much value to any experience. I grew up in a culture where coffee wasn’t rushed. It came after meals, during deep conversations, or in moments of celebration.
Those rhythms stuck with me and I hope to bring that same feeling to the spaces Makoma shares with you.”
Makoma
inspired by the Hebrew word “makom”
which means “place.”
In the Bible, this word makom often refers to a place where God meets His people — not just a physical location, but one marked by His presence. A place that carries much more meaning than just the physical location itself.
This idea shaped Makoma Coffee. It’s not about a physical place, but what that place represents.
